Matthew Update: 2006

Matthew had 3 brain surgeries in 2005. From late FEB 2006 through APR 2006, he underwent 6 weeks of daily radiation. Recently, we had to rush him to Johns Hopkins because a CT scan revealed hydrocephalus caused by his fluid-filled cyst. The cyst was drained and the hydrocephalus symptoms were alleviated. We sent a recent MRI to Hopkins and are awaiting their review to determine if Matthew will need a shunt installed in his head. We pray that won't be necessary.
